To enhance user experience while simultaneously aligning our product with company and government policies, we redesigned the electrical power services menu (New Installation, Power Adjustment, and Temporary Installation).What I do:

  • Analyze processes and gather requirements from stakeholders.

  • Create high-level UX flow, activity diagram, matrix diagram, and requirements.

  • Collaborate with designers to create and iterate on UI/UX designs.

  • Collaborate with internal and external development teams to iterate and refine implementation.

Transaction Verification and Refund

To ensure every transaction on PLN Mobile is successful, we are adding a new functionality to verify the status of any pending transaction. We are also adding an enhanced refund system as a fallback if a transaction fails.What I do:

PPOB Products Expansion

We partnered with established billing aggregators to expand Cermati and Indodana PPOB products and add layers of redundancies to ensure transactions safety and reliability.What I do:

  • Assess partners' technical documentation to determine the integration mechanism.

  • Conduct pricing and product selection analysis to determine which products will be integrated.

  • Maintain good communication with partners to ensure a smooth integration process, from the business, legal, finance, and technical side.

  • Conduct UI/UX research on other PPOB platforms.

  • Collaborate with the design team to iterate on the UI/UX designs.

  • Create Product Requirement Documents.

  • Map partners' API payload properties to our existing API and design new APIs.

Automated Transaction Reporting

I collaborated with the finance team and the engineering team to create a system that compiles daily transaction data into a single report file every month. Our finance team feels that creating reports is labor-intensive and lengthy, hence the need for automation.What I do:

  • Assess the pain points and feature requirements from the finance team.

  • Analyze past reports to create a list of required data, data sources, and necessary calculations.

  • Create report mockups and iterate the mockups with the finance team and a senior product owner.

  • Create Product Requirement Documents from the ground up.

  • Working with developers and QA engineers to ensure the product is developed and tested properly.

Refund Process Automation

Project: Refund Systems Enhancements and Automation
We managed to decrease the time needed and the chance of human error in processing refunds for BCA Lifestyle transactions. Our operational team saw that there is room for improvement in our refund process. I analyzed all of the steps involved in the process and identified which steps could be improved. Then, I created a list of improvements to be added to our system by our engineers.What I do:

  • Assess the pain points and feature requirements of the operational team.

  • Analyze the flow, systems, and stakeholders involved in all of the refund processes.

  • Create a list of new requirements to be added to our existing system.

  • Working with developers and QA engineers to ensure the product is developed and tested properly.

  • Work with a project manager to manage resources across different projects.

  • Brief the operational team on the improvements made in the system and the changes in some of the processes.

  • Test the improvements with our operational team, the client's operational team, developers, and QA engineers to ensure smooth implementation.

User Experience Streamlining

Project: BCA Lifestyle - Taxi
One of our partners (Blue Bird) noticed that our API services cost was higher than expected. We worked together to find the source of the problem and pinpoint the culprit on some APIs. I collaborated with UI/UX designers to redesign and streamline the UX flow to minimize the usage of said APIs. Our API costs were projected to decrease by at least 30%.What I do:

  • Work with developers and our partner to assess which APIs were used and how many times they were called during a user journey from start to finish.

  • Work with UI/UX designers to change some steps and pages that make too many API calls.

  • Coordinate with the client and our partner to ensure their business requirements are still aligned after the streamlining.

  • Working with developers and QA engineers to ensure the product is developed and tested properly.

  • Work with a project manager to manage resources across different projects.
